This woman in her 20s met with Dr. Griffin to discuss options for improving her facial balance. Specifically, she wanted a smaller nose and a stronger jawline. They discussed all her options and she elected to undergo a rhinoplasty, chin implant, and direct excision of submental fat.
Direct excision of submental fat is more invasive than submental liposuction but removes much more fat and particularly in young people and can give a great result. Once the fat has been removed, it cannot reaccumulate in this area.
After surgery, she looks beautiful and is delighted with her results!
