Brow/Forehead Lift, Upper eyelid surgery/Lower eyelid surgery Before & After Photos

This beautiful 69-year-old patient came in to see Dr. Griffin because she was noticing problems with her vision, especially at night. She found it difficult to read and noticed vision impairment when using her peripheral gaze. She noticed that when she raised her eyebrows, her vision would improve. Dr. Garrett Griffin performed a temporal brow lift and upper blepharoplasty to remedy her vision issues. This patient’s surgery was medically necessary and covered by her insurance. A temporal brow lift uses a narrow elliptical-shaped incision in the hair at the temple. The tail of the brow is then suspended and repositioned in an upward and outward direction and stabilized with carefully placed sutures. An upper blepharoplasty removes excess or sagging skin over the eyes through the lid crease. This surgery improved her vision and has the cosmetic benefit of making her look younger and showing off her pretty blue eyes.
